Mission Statement

Genesco's corporate giving program supports non-profit initiatives and organizations that strive to improve the overall quality of life in the communities where our employees work and live. The program seeks to use limited charitable resources effectively in service of the Company's broader mission, prioritizing gifts that we believe will do most to enhance the perception of the Company as good corporate citizen and community leader and to support the particular interests and concerns of our employees. Through these priorities, the program attempts to build goodwill for the Company in the community and to enhance its attractiveness as an employer.

Each year, Genesco receives numerous donation requests from quality organizations across the United States. While we wish we could contribute to every organization, the Company must ensure that the goals of the organizations requesting donations are in line with our own mission and guidelines. For consideration, submit your proposal in writing, including the appropriate materials and return to Claire McCall, Director of Corporate Relations. You will be notified in six to eight weeks in writing regarding the status of your request. See criteria for donations and donation application process for additional information.
