Ken Kocher joined Hat World in 1997 as chief financial officer and was promoted to president in October 2005. In October 2006, Kocher was named senior vice president of Genesco Inc.

During his 11-year tenure, he has managed Hat World’s finance, information systems, Internet operations, distribution, "Lids Create Your Own" and "Lids on the Road" areas, as well as led the early integration of the company's Canadian business.

Prior to Hat World, Ken served as controller with several companies and was a certified public accountant with Edie Bailley.

He is a graduate of the University of North Dakota, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting.

Ken is an active member of the community and serves on the Indiana Bulls youth baseball team board.  He is also involved with other local youth athletic programs.
